Individuals and Year Out students

Whether you're looking to rent an individual room in a shared flat or house, or you'd prefer a self-contained property, we have you covered.

As a housing charity, Unipol helps individuals to find accommodation they're happy living in, and we have a few options for people house hunting on their own:

1. Rooms in shared properties to rent individually

A number of Unipol's shared houses and flats are let out to individual house hunters, meaning you can sign for and move into a property without the pressure of finding a group of people to live with beforehand. All tenants in these properties will sign separate contracts, so you will not be tied into financial liability with other housemates.

The majority include all bills, WiFi, flatscreen TV and contents' insurance.

2. Self-contained flats for students wanting a bit more independence

Unipol also offers self-contained options for those who want to live on their own or in a couple. This includes cosy one and two bed houses and flats, as well as bedsits and studio apartments in all the popular areas. This means your options aren't limited if you'd prefer to live a bit more independently.

3. Drop ins

We host a weekly drop in session at our main offices in Leeds for those who wish to call by more informally and be shown the individual lets on offer. These drop ins take place every Wednesday at 2pm. No need to book, just pop by for the opportunity to view some of Unipol's properties - no pressure!

4. Rent Online

Unipol operates a Rent Online facility so that you can book a room without actually visiting the property or being in Leeds to sign a contract. All properties can be let on an 'Individual Tenancy' so that you are not tied into a financial liability with other housemates.

Using the rent online service, you can view the photographs and floor plans on our website, ask any questions you might have about the other housemates or the property and look through the contract and other information.
