Carlton Hill is a large residence accommodating 604 University of Leeds students. On-site parking is limited to 12 spaces. To ensure a smooth and positive move-in experience for everyone, arrivals will be staggered and require a pre-booked key collection time slot. 

It is not possible for all students to move in on the same day, particularly just before courses start. Please plan your arrival carefully and choose a date and time that works for you - Saturday 12^th and Sunday 13^th September are expected to be the busiest days. 

Key Collection - Booking Required

Key collection is organised by the University of Leeds.

You will receive an email from the University with a link to book your key collection time slot.

If you are travelling a long distance, please allow extra time for your journey to ensure you can attend your pre‑booked slot. The slots are 2 hour periods. If you are arriving by car, this must be during your slot to be able to park on site.

Using a Sat Nav

Carlton Hill is directly opposite the University of Leeds campus and only a short walk from Leeds City Centre.

• Sat Nav postcode: LS7 1EA
• Please ensure your Sat Nav is routing you to the road Lofthouse Terrace. This is the access road to our car park. You cannot access site directly from the ring road, which some Sat Nav systems suggest. 
• This will take you directly to the building, where staff will be available to welcome you.

The car park is for drop off and unloading ONLY

Spaces are very limited:  

• On-site parking is for unloading only
• On arrival, staff will take your vehicle reg, a phone number and the room that you are collecting keys for. 
• You will be limited to 10 minutes to drop off / unload belongings. You must then move your car in to an alternative car park.
• Please park sensibly and be aware of other vehicles and pedestrians moving around you.
• Do not bring large vans or multiple vehicles.
• Staff will be available to help you unload luggage and move it up to your flat. 
• No return visits to the car park are permitted during the core arrival hours of 8am - 8pm Saturday 12^th and Sunday 13^th September. 

After unloading, vehicles MUST be moved to an external car park.
